Volunteer Positions

Clunes Football Netball Club was established in 1886 and has a rich and varied history. Currently we field five football teams with Auskick for the little ones and seven netball teams all ranging in ages and abilities. We have over two hundred members and much of the club is run by volunteers who give us their time and effort to bring sport to Clunes. But, we are more than just about sport. CFNC is Committed United and Proud to provide an environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can strive, thrive and make connections.

CFNC is wanting to be successful on and off the playing fields.

We are the Clunes Magpies - aiming to continue the story.

Join the team!

Volunteering with the Clunes FNC is a rewarding experience that offers opportunities to enhance your workplace skills, build lasting supportive relationships, work with friends, and put yourself to the test as you face and resolve challenges—all while indulging your love of netball or Australian Rules football.

Clunes FNC has endured droughts and flooding rains, even a pandemic or two, over the last 136 years. Bouncing back from adversity is something we know how to do. We want volunteers to join with us in taking the CFNC forward into 2023. Support the CFNC, back your friends, your kids—the whole family—and help keep this vital aspect of the Clunes community, its history, and its future, alive.

Join our team of volunteers—the team behind the teams—and bring your experience, resilience, enthusiasm, and love of sport to support the club, the players, and the many members of our community who enjoy attending CFNC games and events. Volunteer positions are available across both sports at all levels. Whether it’s umpiring, scoring, timekeeping, managing, administration, retail, social media, or line marking, if you love football or netball, there’s a role that needs you.

You’ll learn so much about the game and gain valuable transferrable skills. Training will be provided where needed. Get in touch to find the role that’s right for you!
